Leon was founded by Spanish captain Francisco Hernández de Cordoba in 1524. It was buried in 1610 by the volcanic eruption of Momotombo volcano. Day 3: Volcano Boarding – Cerro Negro

08h00 A journey to the youngest volcanoes “Cerro Negro” in Nicaraguato live and enjoy the adventure of Volcano Boarding. After an early private transfer from Managua, the experience starts with an off-road transfer from Leon city, followed by a one-hour hike to the top of the Cerro Negro volcano, during which your guide will teach you some of the geology of the area.
